Adding Entries for Subjects and Amounts

Below the master fields, there’s a section to add subjects and their respective amounts.

To add more subjects and amounts, click the “Add Entry” button. This will dynamically generate additional fields for you to input more subjects and their amounts.

Generating the Waterfall Chart

Once you’ve filled in the master values and any subjects and amounts, click the “Generate Chart” button.

A waterfall chart will be displayed below the form, visualizing the data you entered. The chart will start with the master amount and then show the cumulative changes based on the subjects’ amounts you’ve entered.

Clearing the Form Data and Chart

To clear all the data you’ve entered and reset the chart, click the “Clear Data” button. This will remove all subjects and amounts you’ve added and clear the chart.

Saving the Chart as a PNG Image

If you want to save the generated waterfall chart as an image, click the “Save as Image” button.

This will trigger a download of the chart in PNG format, which you can then save to your device.

Downloading the Form Data

To save the data you’ve entered in the form for future use, click the “Download Data” button.

This will download a .txt file containing all the data you’ve entered, including the master values and all subjects and amounts.

Uploading a .txt File to Populate the Form

If you’ve previously saved data using the “Download Data” button and wish to populate the form with that data, you can do so using the upload functionality.
